Responsibilties

  • Financial Reporting: Preparing financial reports, balance sheets, and assisting with month-end closing processes.
  • Compliance & Reconciliation: Reconciling bank accounts, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Communication: Resolving billing discrepancies and acting as a point of contact for internal and external financial queries.
  • Bookkeeping & Recording: Recording daily transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date ledgers.
  • Invoicing & Billing: Creating, sending, and managing client invoices, as well as tracking payments and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Manage and maintain customer accounts.
  • Handle transactions, invoices, and payments
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist in account audits and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
  • Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ATS
  • 1–3 years relevant accounting experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Excel
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Good communication and organizational abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
