Role Description
- The Digital | YouTube Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Abuja, responsible for managing and growing Housing TV Africa’s presence on YouTube and other digital video platforms.
- This role includes planning and executing content strategies, overseeing video production workflows, and coordinating with production and editorial teams to ensure consistent, high-quality uploads.
- The manager will handle channel optimization, including thumbnails, titles, descriptions, playlists, and metadata to drive audience growth and engagement. Day-to-day tasks involve monitoring analytics, managing comments and community interactions, implementing marketing campaigns, and staying updated on platform best practices and trends.
- The role also requires collaborating with internal stakeholders to align digital content with broader brand objectives and programming priorities.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, Film, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in YouTube channel management, including optimization, analytics review, and audience engagement strategies. 3-5 years.
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with the ability to oversee end-to-end content creation for digital platforms.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with online communities.
- Experience in Marketing, especially digital and social media marketing, to support content promotion and audience growth.
- Relevant experience in media, broadcasting, or digital content management; familiarity with housing or real estate topics is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working on-site in Abuja and collaborating with production and editorial teams.
