Job Summary
- We are looking for a reliable Assistant Fish Farm Supervisor to support daily operations and improve process control on the farm.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily feeding according to feeding schedules.
- Monitor fish behaviour, growth and mortality and keep simple daily records.
- Support water quality checks and basic pond/tank maintenance.
- Help with harvesting, sorting and sales preparation.
- Ensure farm hygiene and biosecurity standards are followed.
- Report issues promptly (disease signs, unusual mortality, equipment faults).
- Work with the farm owner to ensure instructions are properly implemented.
Requirements
- OND, HND or BSc in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Animal Science, or related field — or strong hands-on experience.
- 1–3 years practical experience on a fish farm.
- Must be honest, teachable and disciplined.
- Able to follow instructions and maintain records.
- Physically fit for farm work.
- Resident in or around Ijebu-Ode preferred.
