Job Summary

  • The School Administrator will be responsible for the effective day-to-day administrative and operational management of theschool.
  • The ideal candidate must have a background in Business Management and demonstrate very strong organizational and coordination skills to support academic and non-academic activities across the school.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily administrative and operational activities of the school.
  • Coordinate school activities across early years and primary sections to ensure smooth and consistent operations.
  • Manage student records, staff files, and official school documentation.
  • Support the admission, enrolment, and withdrawal processes for pupils across all levels.
  • Coordinate staff schedules, meetings, and internal communications.
  • Support management in budgeting, procurement, and general resource planning.
  • Supervise non-teaching and administrative staff and ensure efficient office operations.
  • Liaise with parents, vendors, and relevant regulatory bodies when required.
  • Ensure compliance with education regulations, health and safety standards, and school policies applicable to early years and primary education.
  • Monitor office supplies, facilities, and general school assets.
  • Prepare operational and administrative reports for the school management.

 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a school or similar administrative environment (experience in a Crèche, nursery or primary school will be an added advantage).
  • Very strong organizational and coordination skills are essential for this role.
  • Good knowledge of basic school administration and record management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office andadministrative systems.
