Job Summary
We are seeking a Program Manager will lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of the foundation’s programs and initiatives, ensuring they align with the organization’s mission and strategic goals. Additionally, the role involves contributing to fundraising efforts, building partnerships, and identifying new opportunities to sustain and expand the foundation’s impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee programs in alignment with the NGO’s goals and target communities’ needs.
- Design strategies for program scalability and sustainability.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes using qualitative and quantitative metrics.
- Collaborate with community members, partner organizations, and government agencies to strengthen program impact.
- Prepare detailed progress and impact reports for internal leadership, donors, and external stakeholders.
- Write and submit grant proposals tailored to donor priorities.
- Maintain relationships with existing donors, providing them with updates and impact reports.
- Assist in organizing donor events and site visits to showcase the NGO’s work.
- Identify new funding sources, including foundations, corporate sponsors, and individual donors.
- Build partnerships with stakeholders to enhance resource mobilization efforts.
- Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns and community events.
- Use digital tools and social media to promote fundraising initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Nonprofit Management, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in the nonprofit or development sector.
- Proven experience in securing funds from corporations, foundations, and international donors is a strong advantage
Required Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing and public speaking.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to network with corporate partners, donors, and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Digital competency with familiarity in online fundraising platforms.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Passion for non-profit work, particularly in the area of child education and support.
