Key Responsibilities
- Confirm vendor/resource availability and cost inputs within 1 business day of order requests
- Evaluate, validate, and register all third-party vendors on the ERP before work is assigned
- Maintain the vendor tiering system and expand the vendor pool in underserved operating countries
- Own subcontractor company relationships, including contractual terms and dispute resolution
- Conduct quarterly vendor performance evaluations and de-list underperformers
- Issue Purchase Orders and negotiate prices, discounts, and contractual terms with suppliers
- Oversee logistics strategy at the procurement level and approve high-value freight contracts
- Provide weekly procurement reports and analyse supply chain data
Requirements
- B.Sc. Degree / HND in a numerate discipline (professional qualification an advantage)
- 3-5 years experience in supply chain / procurement
- Strong negotiation, planning, and analytical skills; high integrity
- Proficiency in ProcurementERPand Microsoft Suite
- Familiarity with the telecommunications industry is highly advantageous.
