Job Description

  • The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, security, and efficient operation of the company’s event rental facilities and equipment.
  • This includes ensuring that all resources are in excellent condition and readily available to support events, managing staff, coordinating with clients, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the upkeep of the company’s facilities, ensuring they remain clean, safe, and functional.
  • Manage repairs and maintenance schedules for equipment and physical infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address issues proactively.
  • Monitor the availability and condition of event rental items (e.g., chairs, tables, tents, AV equipment).
  • Coordinate repairs, replacements, or upgrades of rental items as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory usage and ensure efficient storage.
  • Supervise the facility staff, including cleaners, maintenance personnel, and support staff.
  • Develop work schedules and delegate tasks to ensure smooth facility operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients using the facility for events.
  • Ensure client needs are met, including equipment setup and breakdown.
  • Address client concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for the facility and equipment.
  • Develop and implement emergency response protocols.
  • Conduct safety training sessions for staff and clients, where applicable.
  • Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or repair work.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Monitor facility-related expenses and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Prepare reports on maintenance costs, inventory, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with the logistical planning and setup of events hosted at the facility.
  • Ensure all facility resources are prepared and operational before events.
