Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Procurement Officer to manage the purchase of finished beverage products and operational supplies.
• The role focuses on bulk purchasing, supplier coordination, cost control, and ensuring steady product availability for distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure finished beverages (beer, malt drinks, and soft drinks) in bulk from breweries and authorized suppliers.
• Source and manage operational supplies required for distribution activities.
• Monitor stock levels and sales trends to support timely replenishment and prevent stockouts.
• Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders, maintain procurement records, and track supplier invoices.
• Support negotiation efforts to achieve competitive pricing and favorable supply terms.
• Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to align procurement with distribution plans.
• Prepare regular procurement and stock reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND / B.Sc / B.Tech in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transport Management, or related fields.
• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within FMCG or beverage distribution.
• Good understanding of bulk purchasing and inventory planning.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and record keeping.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
