Job Summary

  • The Inventory Assistant will work closely with the operations and finance teams, overseeing stock monitoring, reconciliation, and inventory reporting to support strategic decision-making, and maintain optimal stock levels in line with business needs and market demand.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily checks on product sales, review the status of each product, and prepare reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Communicate daily with vendors on the Splitmulti platform regarding order information via any communication channel.
  • Monitor Splitmultiorder fulfillment on a daily basis.
  • Monitor daily tracking of refunds, vendor payments, and payment reconciliation on Splitmulti.
  • The Assistantis to maintain and update inventory records of all Sage Grey Tech products.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies on Sage Grey Tech products.
  • Monitoring inventory movements, including receiving, issuing, and stock transfers
  • Recording discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
  • Coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and improve accuracy.
  • Analyzing inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels
  • Developing and implementing inventory policies and procedures
  • Performing regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues and implement process improvements.
  • Anticipating future inventory needs through data analysis.
  • Evaluating suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships.
  • Optimizing inventory control procedures.
  • Inspecting levels of business supplies and raw materials to identify shortages.
  • Ensuring adequate product stock for all distribution channels and customer demand.
  • Recording daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.
  • Assist the admin and operations team where needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel(very important)
  • Understanding of supply chain processes
  • Expertise in warehouse management, Stock control and reconciliation, Inventory audits
  • Strong communication, presentation and collaborative skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt shifting priorities.
