Job Summary
- The Graphics Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling and brand-aligned designs that support marketing, corporate communications, and digital media initiatives.
- This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and a strong understanding of visual storytelling to produce high-quality designs across print and digital platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop creative design concepts for digital and print materials including social media graphics, brochures, flyers, presentations, banners, and advertisements.
- Translate marketing and brand strategies into visually engaging designs that communicate key messages effectively.
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, and other departments to deliver cohesive brand visuals.
- Create and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Design multimedia content including motion graphics and basic video edits where required.
- Prepare artwork files for print production and ensure accuracy in layout, dimensions, and color specifications.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging creative techniques.
- Review final layouts and suggest improvements when necessary.
- Maintain organized archives of design files and assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in graphic design or a related creative role.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and other relevant design tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and professional design work.
- Knowledge of typography, color theory, layout principles, and branding.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles is an added advantage.
- Ability to prepare production-ready artwork for print and digital platforms.
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Receptiveness to feedback and ability to refine designs accordingly.
