Carpenter / Maintenance Technician

Nosagie Holdings is an indigenous registered company, having its headquarters office located in Benin City, Edo State. It provides EPIC and Project Management Services for the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals Industries.

Responsibilties

• You will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing furniture such as beds, wardrobes, cabinets, tables, shelves, and other wooden fixtures required for both office and hotel use.
• You will handle repairs and maintenance of existing furniture and fittings, including doors, locks, frames, and structural woodwork, ensuring all items remain in good working condition.
• You will conduct routine inspections across facilities and hotel rooms to identify damages or maintenance needs, and promptly carry out necessary repairs to maintain operational standards and guest satisfaction.
• You will take accurate measurements, cut and shape materials, and execute installations according to specifications and design requirements.
• You will work closely with the facilities and hotel operations teams to respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, especially in urgent situations that may affect guest experience.
• You will ensure proper handling, usage, and maintenance of all tools and equipment, while adhering strictly to safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an SSCE / OND, or HND qualification
• Proven experience as a carpenter, with hands-on ability in furniture making and repairs.
• Experience in a hotel or commercial environment is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques. Basic understanding of general maintenance work is required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, pay attention to detail, and deliver quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks.
