Job Summary
- The SA/Snr Backend Engineer will be responsible designing secure and scalable systems end to end, drawing detailed database schematics and developing APIs conforming to PCIDSS standards.
- This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design system architecture, and implement new features.
- He/She will be expected to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Additionally, understand test driven development, cover edge cases adequate, etc. He will train and mentor entry and mid-level developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design secure and scalable systems.
- Proficient in Java programming language and Springboot.
- Understanding of .net core and PhP is a big plus
- Understand Spring batch and Spring cloud.
- Expert in Event driven development using RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka, etc
- Design and implement scalable and efficient back-end systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, pseudo coding, and develop new features.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Test driven development
- Troubleshooting and resolving software defects and performance issues.
- Ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Experience building a financial system will be a plus
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience is also acceptable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SA and backend development, particularly in building scalable, high-performance applications.
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java and .net Core or Laravel
- Knowledge of relational databases and/or NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with popular backend frameworks (e.g., Springboot, Laravel, .NET Core).
- Understanding of common security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP) and experience implementing secure coding practices.
