Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- The role involves preparing financial statements, managing accounts, conducting audits, and supporting budgeting processes.
Functions / Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Conduct regular financial audits and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Handle tax filings and liaise with tax authorities as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
