Responsibilties

• Review event details from the Event Brief (as supplied by the Event Supervisor).
• Complete the Grill Station Requisition Form to request food, propane, and supplies from inventory.
• Inspect and clean all grilling equipment before departure for an event.
• Conduct pre- and post-event inventory counts of all food items and grilling supplies.
• Report any spoilage or waste using the Inventory Variance Report.
• Communicate low stock levels of grilling-specific items to the Store Keeper.
• Complete the Grill Station Report after each event (items sold, waste, customer feedback).
• Provide input on popular items and recommendations for menu adjustments.
• Engage with guests in a professional and friendly manner, describing menu items and preparation methods.
• Accommodate special dietary requests (e.g., vegetarian, no gluten) where possible.
• Ensure every dish served meets the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
• Proactively offer samples to waiting guests to enhance their experience.
• Solicit verbal feedback from guests on food items.
• Report notable feedback (positive or negative) to the Event Supervisor for inclusion in the post-event report.
• Set up, operate, and break down the mobile grill station safely and efficiently at event locations.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of the grill station throughout the event.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all food items to meet health and safety standards.
• Execute the standard and custom grill menus with consistency and precision.
• Prepare marinades, rubs, and sides according to company recipes.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations.
• Maintain a safe working environment around open flames and hot surfaces.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with 1 – 2 years experience.
