Job Summary

  • We are a leading FMCG company and major distributor of food products seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Operations Manager to support the management of our daily distribution and logistics operations.
  • The successful candidate will assist in coordinating warehouse activities, inventory management, order fulfillment, and delivery operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing daily distribution, warehouse, and logistics operations
  • Support coordination of order processing, picking, and dispatch
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records
  • Assist in supervising warehouse staff and delivery personnel
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers and partners
  • Support implementation of operational policies and procedures
  • Assist in preparing operational and inventory reports
  • Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and quality standards
  • Assist in resolving operational issues and customer delivery concerns

 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 4–7 years experience in FMCG distribution, logistics, or warehouse operations
  • Experience in managing warehouse and distribution activities
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Good knowledge of inventory management and logistics processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ​​​​​​​Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with major FMCG distributors
  • Experience managing delivery operations and warehouse teams
  • Knowledge of inventory systems or ERP is an added advantage
