Responsibilties

  • Will assist Senior Production Technician with all process operations and maintenance.
  • To carry out process and maintenance duties safely and professionally in accordance with HSEQ system
  • Monitor and control the process and take readings and record
  • Ensure continuous process with minimum down time
  • Ensure functionality of instrumentation and controls as well as operating set points are maintained.
  • Familiarise yourself with the “Permit To Work System”
    Secure of all equipment for safe work condition before signing the “Work Permit”
  • Familiar with the safety shut-down system and know the necessary actions to be taken in the event of alarms / shut-down situations, i.e. PSD, ESD, fire and gas alarm
  • Facilitate maintenance operations by applying/removing isolations as required.
  • Operate under PTW system, Toolbox talk and Risk Assessment system.

Experience

  • 2 years’ experience in hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
  • Knowledge of ESD F&G and DCS systems, Basic knowledge in chemical and/or process plant.
  • Good understanding of Permit to Work, Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment.

  • Prepare Process And Utility Systems For Operation
  • Operate And Monitor Process And Utility Systems
  • Prepare Process And Utility Systems For Shutdown
  • Isolate And Reinstate Process And Utility Systems For Maintenance And Repair
  • Monitor And Maintain Pollution Control Measures
  • Carry Out Emergency Response Role.
