GIG Mobility (formerly God Is Good Motors) started in 1998 as a traditional family-run bus company in Nigeria. Following the tragic death of founders Edwin and Stella Ajaere, their son, Chidi Ajaere, took over in 2009. He transformed the company from a traditional transport business into a major tech-enabled mobility and logistics company.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell bus tickets at GIGM terminals to walk-in guests.
- Make and/or change travel reservations for walk-in guests using the online booking system.
- Create and maintain guest reservation records.
- Resolve service problems by clarifying the guest complaint via phone, email, and in person.
- Forward booking/travelling reschedule requests to the concerned unit.
- Serve guests by providing service information related to travel schedules, fares, and payments.
- Announce arrival and departure information using the public address system.
- Assist in guest luggage check-in.
- Ensure customer complaints and emergency concerns are escalated to the appropriate quarters.
- Adhere to the company’s policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.
- Promote goodwill by being courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests, managers, and fellow employees.
- Promote online booking, app downloads, and other products and services of the company to customers.
