Job Summary

• Elkris Bio Health Foods Nigeria Limited, a growing indigenous food manufacturing and health-focused company, is seeking a highly experienced, analytical, and result-driven professional to join our team as an Auditor.
• We are looking for someone who can go beyond routine auditing and build a strong audit culture and accountability system for Elkris Bio Health Foods Nig. Ltd from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and establish a comprehensive internal audit and control structure from scratch across the Group.
• Design and implement effective audit policies, procedures, systems, and control frameworks.
• Conduct regular audits of financial records, inventory, operations, procurement, sales, logistics, and other business processes.
• Ensure proper transparency, accountability, and traceability of company funds, products, assets, and other items.
• Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
• Monitor adherence to company policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Investigate discrepancies, irregularities, losses, and suspected control weaknesses.
• Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, recommendations, and management action points.
• Follow up on audit findings to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Work closely with Finance, HR, Sales, Warehouse, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations teams to strengthen internal controls.
• Provide Management with independent and objective assessments of the Company’s processes and controls.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Management, Internal Control, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or relevant audit/risk certification will be an added advantage.
• Proven ability to build an effective auditing and internal control structure from the ground up.
• Strong knowledge of audit principles, internal controls, risk management, and corporate governance.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and control weaknesses.
• Demonstrated ability to promote transparency, accountability, and proper documentation across an organisation.
• High level of integrity, independence, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Strong reporting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, retail, or a multi-business/group environment will be an added advantage.
