Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory HR Business Partner (HRBP) to provide strategic and operational HR support within our manufacturing facility.
  • The successful candidate will partner closely with the Factory Manager and departmental heads to drive workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, productivity, performance, discipline, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Factory Management on workforce planning, manpower requirements, and people-related business decisions.
  • Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts.
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and employee exits.
  • Drive performance management, employee engagement, and workforce productivity initiatives.
  • Monitor attendance, absenteeism, overtime, leave, and workforce trends.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant interventions.
  • Ensure effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Provide accurate payroll inputs and support employee benefits administration.
  • Prepare and analyze factory HR reports, workforce metrics, and HR KPIs.
  • Provide HR insights and recommendations to Factory Management and Group HR.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, is required.
  • 5–7years’ progressive HR experience, with significant experience in an HRBP or similar HR advisory role.
  • Strong hands-on experience in a manufacturing/factory environment is required.
  • Proven experience supporting production, warehouse, technical, supervisory, and blue-collar workforce.
  • Good knowledge of employee relations, performance management, recruitment, workforce planning, and Nigerian labour practices.
  • Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Industry Experience:

  • Experience in FMCG,pharmaceuticals, food processing, or other manufacturing industries will be highly preferred.
