Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled electrical engineer with at least 2-4 years of hands-on project experience.
• The role involves designing, implementing, testing, and commissioning electrical systems.
• The successful candidate will support projects from design to handover while ensuring compliance with codes and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review electrical design drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, layouts, and specifications for projects.
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, short-circuit analysis, and protection coordination studies.
• Support the selection and specification of electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, motors, generators, UPS systems, and lighting.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, and instrumentation) and project stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Support construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities of electrical systems on project sites.
• Prepare technical reports, method statements, as-built documentation, and project handover packages.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during design and construction phases promptly.
• Promote and adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies throughout project execution.

Requirements

• B.Eng. or HND in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of proven experience in electrical design, project, and site supervision.
• COREN or NSE membership is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and control panels.
• Familiarity with Nigerian electrical codes and international standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
