Job Summary

• As the Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance, repair, and optimal functionality of the hospital’s facilities, equipment, and utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on hospital equipment and facility systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities with vendors and service providers.
• Maintain maintenance logs and ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
• Supervise repair and installation works to ensure quality and timely completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in facility or maintenance operations, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and vendor management.
• Good analytical, communication, and report writing skills.
