GIG Mobility

GIG Mobility (formerly God Is Good Motors) started in 1998 as a traditional family-run bus company in Nigeria. Following the tragic death of founders Edwin and Stella Ajaere, their son, Chidi Ajaere, took over in 2009. He transformed the company from a traditional transport business into a major tech-enabled mobility and logistics company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell bus tickets at GIGM terminals to walk-in guests.
  • Make and/or change travel reservations for walk-in guests using the online booking system.
  • Create and maintain guest reservation records.
  • Resolve service problems by clarifying the guest complaint via phone, email, and in person.
  • Forward booking/travelling reschedule requests to the concerned unit.
  • Serve guests by providing service information related to travel schedules, fares, and payments.
  • Announce arrival and departure information using the public address system.
  • Assist in guest luggage check-in.
  • Ensure customer complaints and emergency concerns are escalated to the appropriate quarters.
  • Adhere to the company’s policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.
  • Promote goodwill by being courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests, managers, and fellow employees.
  • Promote online booking, app downloads, and other products and services of the company to customers.
