Project: IDEAS- Childcare Skills Programme (LOT 18)
Duration: 6 Months (with possible extension)
Job Purpose
- The Training Programme Manager will provide overall leadership and coordination of the Early Childhood Education and Development Skills training programme, ensuring effective implementation, compliance with IDEAS guidelines, and achievement of training, certification, early childcare development and employment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall management and coordination of the training programme.
- Develop and oversee implementation of the early childcare development skills.
- Coordinate recruitment and enrolment of trainees in line with programme criteria.
- Supervise instructors, administrative staff, and project personnel.
- Liaise with certification bodies such as National Board for Technical Education and National Business and Technical Examinations Board for assessment and certification.
- Ensure compliance with IDEAS reporting requirements and performance milestones.
- Facilitate creation of childcare centers at the community.
- Ensure at least 75% employment or self-employment outcomes for trainees.
- Lead reporting including inception, progress, completion, and employment tracking reports.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, Social Sciences, or related field.
- Professional certification required
- Minimum of 7 years experience in training programme management.
- Experience in early childcare development.
- Demonstrated experience managing donor-funded projects.
