Role Summary
- We are seeking a creative and purpose-driven Graphic Designer & Visual Communications Officer to support our advocacy and communications work.
- The successful candidate will serve as a visual storyteller, translating complex legal, research, and social justice issues into compelling and accessible visual content across digital and print platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support visual identities for advocacy campaigns and organizational initiatives.
- Translate research findings, legal content, reports, and stories into clear infographics and visual layouts.
- Design communication materials including brochures, flyers, posters, newsletters, and annual reports.
- Ensure all visual outputs align with WRAPA brand, values, and commitment to dignity, empowerment, and inclusion.
- Deliver high-quality designs within tight timelines, including for rapid-response advocacy needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years prior experience in graphic design or visual communications
- Demonstrated passion for social justice and women’s rights, with the ability to handle sensitive content (e.g., GBV, legal rights) with professionalism and care.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse design styles (e.g., infographics, branding, social media content).
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
