Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, controlling costs, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management:

  • Oversee the daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs of restaurant equipment.

Staff Management:

  • Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff including servers, cooks, and cleaners.
  • Create staff schedules and ensure proper staffing levels during peak hours.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching or disciplinary action as needed.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure guests receive excellent customer service and resolve any complaints or issues promptly.
  • Monitor dining areas to ensure a pleasant atmosphere and customer satisfaction.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor and control food, labor, and operating costs.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the restaurant through social media, events, and local partnerships.
  • Gather feedback and identify areas for improvement in menu, service, or ambiance.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and health standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems, scheduling tools).

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Standing for long periods and occasional lifting of supplies or equipment.
