Job Description

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Plan, teach and asses lessons across various primary school subjects
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that meets the diverse needs of all students
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and teaching practices that align with the school’s curriculum standards
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
• Participate in staff development and school events.

Requirements / Skills

The required skills for the job include, but are not limited to the following:

• Candidates should possess a BEd or NCE qualification or both with at least 5 years of work experience.
• Sound verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized learning plans
• Ability to interact and engage positively with staff and pupils
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
