Responsibilities
- Assemble and install solar panels and systems according to site plans and schematics.
- Mount panels on rooftops, poles, or other structures using hand and power tools.
- Connect panels to the electrical system using wiring, inverters, and other equipment.
- Inspect and maintain existing solar systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and fix issues with panels, inverters, or wiring.
- Replace faulty components or upgrade outdated systems
- Conduct site visits to determine solar feasibility and optimal panel placement.
- Measure and analyze roof conditions, shading, orientation, and structural integrity.
- Prepare reports on installation progress and maintenance activities.
- Record data from system tests and inspections.
- Maintain documentation for warranties and service histories.
- Explain system functionality and basic maintenance to clients.
- Provide support for questions or issues post-installation.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess OND / HND qualifications with 1 – 3 years of experience.
