Job Summary

  • The Quality Control officer will support the Quality Control Manager in overseeing and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure that all automobile products meet the required specifications and quality standards.
  • This position involves supervising a team of quality control staff, conducting audits, and collaborating with different departments to drive continuous improvement efforts.

Job Description

  • Supervision: Assist in supervising the daily activities of the Production team, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to quality guidelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Inspection and testing: Oversee the inspection and testing of products and materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Analysis Data: Analyze quality data and trends; prepare reports on quality metrics and present findings to QC Manager.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the training and development of quality control staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as production, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Documentation: Ensure that all quality-related documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Compliance: Stay informed about industry standards and regulations to ensure company practices comply.
  • Any other function as may be assigned by the Quality Control Manager

Qualification / Experience

  • First Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Hands-on experience in the repair and maintenance of automobiles is an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in an automobile company is desired.
