Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced ROV Supervisor to oversee and manage Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) operations during offshore projects.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and successful deployment, piloting, and maintenance of ROV systems while leading and mentoring the ROV team.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in offshore ROV operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage all aspects of ROV operations during offshore projects.
  • Lead a team of ROV pilots, technicians, and engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient deployment and recovery of ROV systems.
  • Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ROV equipment.
  • Conduct pre- and post-dive briefings, ensuring ROV systems are fully operational.
  • Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams to meet project requirements and deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in ROV operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of ROV systems, including hydraulics, electronics, and mechanical components.
  • Relevant certification in ROV operations and/or subsea engineering (e.g., IMCA).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff.
  • Proven experience in subsea operations, including inspections, construction, and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the offshore industry.
