House of Plants (Lagos Plants) is a horticulture company that sells plants, flowers and offers landscaping and maintenance service.

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a vibrant, entrepreneurial, and social media-savvy Assistant Manager to supervise staff, and strategize and execute business development initiatives.
  • This is a hybrid role (4 days on-site and other days remote). Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
    Responsibilities
  • On-site supervision oflandscaping or bulk-order projects
    Strategize on marketing & sales and execute brand growth initiatives
  • Staying on trend with marketing strategies and advising CEO accordingly
  • Shoot brand products and create engaging picture or video content to drive traffic to social media platforms and to boost sales
  • Responding to customer messages on all media platforms and processing customer orders
  • Resolving customer service issues if any in a professional and efficient manner
  • Assisting with packaging and sending out orders for delivery
  • Staff management and administrative support

Requirements

  • Minimum academic qualification of a B.Sc in any related field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a digital marketing, managerial or executive assistant role
  • Excellent Customer Service,Problem Solving Skills andNegotiation Skills
  • Photography, graphics or videography skills will be an added advantage
  • Experience using tiktok, Instagram and other social media platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Vibrant, outgoing and fun personality
  • Prior experience in horticulture is not required as the ideal candidate will be fully trained.
  • The ideal candidate should be based on the island preferably.
