Managing Associate

Balogun Harold is a first-tier Nigerian Law Firm for investment and financing transactions focused the Technology, Infrastructure & Energy sectors. We mostly work for institutional investors, international lenders, private equity and venture capital investors (including angel investors & HNIs), government investment funds and fund managers.

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role as a Managing Associate at Balogun Harold Legal located in Lekki.
• The Managing Associate will be responsible for overseeing and managing legal projects, conducting research, drafting legal documents, negotiating contracts, and providing legal advice and guidance to clients.
• Additionally, the Managing Associate will be involved in business development activities, client relationship management, and mentoring junior associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law or related field; Master’s degree is a plus
• Strong knowledge and experience in corporate/commercial law practice
• Expertise in any of the Technology, Infrastructure, and Energy sectors
• Experience working with institutional investors, international lenders, and private equity investors, will be an added advantage
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills
• Ability to provide sound legal advice and guidance
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to mentor and supervise junior associates
• Qualified to practice law in Nigeria.
