Responsibilities
- Research, identify and pursue grant opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission and programs.
- Develop compelling grant proposals, grant applications, and funding requests.
- Study and comprehend program objectives, activities and budgetary requirements to effectively communicate them in grant proposals.
- Demonstrate strong research skills to gather relevant information and statistics for proposals.
- Manage multiple grant applications simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
- Maintain multiple grant applications simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Maintain organized records of grant applications, correspondence, and reporting requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any related discipline
- Proven experience in grant writing and proposal development
- Ability to comprehend complex program objectives and funding requirements
- Strong research skills with knowledge of various information sources
- Excellent multitasking, organizational, and time management abilities
- Proficiency in written communication with attention to detail
Added Advantage - Familiarity with general population and underrepresented communities in respect to health, economic empowerment and human rights interventions.
